There is no better way to acclimate yourself to Paris and defeat jet lag than to get on one of Bike About Tours' cycles soonafter you hit the tarmac. The English-speaking expats who run the concession out of a parking garage are top notch tour guides, full of esoteric information about Paris. I credit the sunshine exposure and exercise after... Unfortunately, I did not read Sarah's Key until I returned from Paris. The story revolves around the Jewish section in Paris where the Nazis took people in the middle of the night. The first stop on this tour was to a monument in honor of the Jewish people who died in Paris. The tour guide was a sweet girl and... More

These guys know their stuff. From the moment I had contact, they were friendly and efficient. I had emailed them a couple of months prior to our trip, as I wanted to find out if the tour would be okay for our 8 year old, who had not done much bike riding. Everything worked liked clockwork and we were matched... More

Having been to Paris before I wanted to do a tour that was a little different to the typical hoards on a coach and do the key monuments - and this tour proved to be exactly what I was looking for. The guide was great - even though not a Paris-native he was really informative. With some apprehesion around riding... More

I recently returned from a wonderful Thanksgiving in Paris. When visiting only for a few days I wanted an experience that would elicit the "off the beaten path Paris",,,this tour delivered. Guide tour was informative and fun, and made a great effort to keep us all (maybe 7 of us) sightseeing while not looking too much like tourists. It's almost... More

It was already our 4th time in Paris. So far we never got the feeling that we 'understood' Paris. How different was this after we did the 'Parisian Day Bike Tour' with Bike About Tours. We really got a feel for the layout of the city and the things that were going on, which made it much more fun on... More

I did a bike tour in Amsterdam and absolutely loved it, so when I had a free day in Paris, I was super excited to do a bike tour there as well. Unfortunately, there's a HUGE difference in bike-ability between Amsterdam and Paris, and I just didn't enjoy it as much in Paris. Our guide was great; very informed and... More

Thanks for your review. It is always interesting and intriguing to read some of the feedback from our customers. I will have to politely disagree with your comment about Paris not being a bike able city and that it doesn't have many bike lanes. Paris is one of the most bike able cities in the world and has over 200... More

My husband and I went on the bike about tour in November. It started off great then the rain came and we had to postpone it. We got to finish the tour off a couple of days later-the owner took us and it was just my husband and I-was like a personalized tour! We got to see so much of... More

As a family of five, with children ages 7 to 12, we were thrilled with our secret tour of Paris. Our youngest regally waved from her spot at the front of a very cool tandem. The tour was tailored for our needs and interests, with such thoughtful inclusions as a stop for coffee and eclairs, flower markets, where to avoid... More

Our guides were informative and shared their love of Paris with other world travellers on the bike ride. History came alive with interesting stories. They were especially helpful to novice riders whom I was one of. At the end of the tour we were provided with Bike About's Secret List of favourite places. This is a must do experience. More
