As titled. Nice tools and goods for every home. Tourists may not be interested as you can hardly buy a pot or likewise back home.

Less expensive than Bon Marche, but seriously not what we were expecting based on other reviews. We found better deals on what we considered to be well-made yet affordable and still truly "French" clothing in some of the small boutiques on the rue des Archives and surrounding area.

If you're wanting to shop in Paris this department store is a must! Shopped there at the end of March and got some great items of clothing for the whole family on sale! Customer service was good - when shopping for watches the sales assistants that didn't really speak English were willing to help us to try to work out...

I was anxious to visit BHV since I hadn't been there on my previous visits to Paris. I was impressed to see there was a shoe repair shop in the basement. The main floor consists of the same things you will see in most large department stores but the variety of items is greater. I was pleasantly surprised to find...

While the heat in BHV was also up way too high, I enjoyed my trip to BHV. Prices were within my budget for known French brands and I loved the variety in their merchandise. This is a store I would visit often if I lived in Paris and I feel like tourists should take some time to visit if they...

It takes up two buildings, two blocks & has floors of merchandise from all over Paris that are marked down to liquidate. I put a Video on...

If you want to find one-stop shopping at its best and at a good price in Paris, then BHV is your kind of place. It is one of the oldest in Paris and in a treasure trove of everything at great prices compared with other outlets. While the building and shop spaces themselves might not have the designer chic of...

I visited all the big stores (Galeries, Printemps, Bon Marche) but ended up doing almost all my shopping at BHV. It's like the French version of Sears- not super trendy or upscale but they have seemingly everything. I lucked into an "exceptional sale" - one not during the bi-annual government mandated sale times and many items were 30-50% off, so...

This is the department store where all of the Parisians shop for their real lives, I think. The basement is a Home Depot-esque hardware store, complete with those French blue and white house numbers. When we were there, families were stocking up on all of their back to school supplies in the stationery section. The craft section has lots of...
