This great building was created for the 1900 Universal Exposition, as most of the great art nouveau buildings that Paris has still today over the Seine river: Eiffel Tower, Alexander III bridge, the Orsay railway station, etc. The building has been not only well preserved, but constantly cleaned and repaired to maintain its magnificence and accomodate so many temporary exhibitions....
