Unfortunately, the display is of paintings and not actual boats.
No indoor café, but worth a two/three hour visit; includes a free audio guide, which is efficient.

The Musee de la Marine is tucked away in the Palais de Chaillot at Place Trocadero. If you are a fan of ships and ship models, this museum is for you, especially if you have a Paris Museum Pass. The English audioguide is ok, but if you are comfortable in French, the French one is better. There are impressive displays...

This museum is one of the finest in the world...make sure you leave plenty of time to really take in the history and art form of hte models to display the french maritime ....a true hidden gem in paris...do take time to visit especially if you love maritime

Went to the Paquet Bot France exhibition which is due to finish soon but the rest of the museum was a little boring to be truthful although if naval history interests you it is a good collection, particularly of naval art. Well displayed in a light and airy atmosphere.
