This was definitely a find. It's in the Latin Quarter and looks like a mid evil manor. Definitely well thought out and easy to navigate. The staff are friendly, but some places you aren't allowed to take pictures.

I personally liked this museum because I am a history buff and loved learning about Paris in the middle ages. It is most interesting because it rests on one of the ancient ruins of Paris. If you like this one, a visit to the catacombs should be next!
With a vaste collection of tapestries, stained glass, jewelery and other very nice objects from the middle ages, this museum is worth visiting. The exterior and interior of the building are very beautiful. I loved the wooden showcases, which put in value the museum and its collections. The audioguide is included in the ticket price and for those under 26...

I you are staying on the left bank and have a museum pass this is a good museum to visit. I a, not sure it is worth taking a long metro ride for though.
This is a lovely museum and can easily be appreciated in just a few hours. Perfect for those on a time limit, it is also free to the under 26's, so wonderful for the young on a budget.
It is much smaller than I thought. We were sad to have missed the Lady and Unicorn, but the rest was pretty awesome. The Cluny is a can't miss if you like the history of the Middle Ages.
Was disappointed to find that "The Lady and the Unicorn" is in Tokyo for six months. It is in tiny, tiny print at the ticket counter and not disclosed when you buy your ticket. This Museum is open on Monday and be sure visitors are not there. Still this museum is worth a visit as the other tapestries are impressive...

They don't tell you when the lady & the unicorn is not there until AFTER you are in the museum looking at blank wall with a poor photocopy of the lady & the unicorn and an explanation in French stating that its not in the museum and on tour.
The rest of the museum is just OK. Nothing that great...

The Cluny is my favorite historical site in all of Paris. Love the history there. SO many wonderful things to discover. Great way to spend a few hours without a lot of crowds around.
We weren't really planning on going to this museum but it was right by our hotel and free with the Paris Museum Pass so we decided to give it a try and it was one of my favorites. I loved to see the heads of the Kings of Judah that had been cut off the Notre Dame. The unicorn tapestries...
