Nicole is very knowledgeable about wines and especially the Burgundy ones. All of us at the tasting learned quite a bit about how to taste and what our biases do to our evaluation process. It is hard to believe that she and her husband share all their time, experience and WINES without any fee. Don't miss it!

My family of five went to his cellar for a wine tasting. None of us knew much about wine, but we walked out feeling extremely well informed. Pierre has a delightful personality and provides great instruction. The tasting lasted over three hours and we trying an array of wines. We highly recommend!

We recently had a great wine tasting here Pierre was great and informative and the husband and wife team produced a very welcoming atmosphere. The wines were lovely the tasting free but of course we bought more than we went to . Great time thoroughly recommend

Six of us booked a tasting at the Guardian Angels in Beaune, and found it to be one of the most memorable and educational 3+ hours any of us had spend in years. Pierre offers great instruction as well as pushing you to improve your ability to discern the various characteristics of various wines. My daughter, living in Beaune, has... More

Perhaps if you know exactly what you want, you can go to that terroir. But as burgundy newbies, Pierre is exactly what we needed. Knowledgable, friendly, polite and goes well beyond simply helpful. We had originally called for a tasting, as scheduled but our plans changed and we would not be able to attend. Pierre suggested we come by anyway.... More

A true highlight of our trip to France! Pierre and Nicole were excellent hosts and we learned a lot about the wines of the region. We got to taste over a dozen whites, reds and sparkling varieties. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Beaune. Pierre also recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner that night -- La Table de Guigone. A 'must-do'... More

I read other 5 star reviews when we got back to the hotel. Three hours four hours, twelve wines eighteen wines - who's counting. We had 15 wines in over three hours - I think. The real point of the five star review was not the quantity but the quality of the wines and the afternoon with Pierre. Merci to... More

Pierre probably doesn't need this review as everyone else has said what I will tell you: do not miss this. He is incredibly knowledgable and will teach you how to taste like a pro, not to mention pour you some incredible wines. So so knowledgable and a great teacher. He changed the way i will approach wine forever.

Be sure that we always need to read nice compliments. I am so proud to know that your way of drinking wines will no longer be the same. It was a real pleasure to meet you. I wait for you to discover other flavours. Thank you for enjoying so much. Pierre More

I just spent a wonderful afternoon blind tasting with my parents. We were the only people there so go a private "VIP" wine tour. 18 wines in total with their varied histories and origins beautifully explained by pierre's knowledgeable wife (sorry to say we loved her but can't remember her name). Three hours of tasting and education (that felt not... More

Thank you so much for your compliments. I was already so pleased because of what you wrote on the guest book. The hours with the three of you seemed so short. And you were marvelous students... Again happy birthday to your mother ! More

Zero cost for a 3 hour tasting of 16 wines and one spirit? Fantastic. It is true that the older man who runs the tasting is a little crazy (he still talks about resveratrol), but it's cute. This is a great way to develop a palate for Burgundian wines. Just keep in mind that if you don't spit, you will... More

Thank you so much for your sense of humor. Don't forget Resveratrol to keep it... We shared a very nice time together, and I really hope to see you again. Pierre More
