The most amazing thing about this cathedral is the construction. Standing at the entry, you will see that the aisle curves in the middle so that one does not have a straight line of vision from the entrance to past the alter to the other end. I visited the cathedral on a day trip to Quimper with friends. I can't walk by an open church without having a wonder round. Entry was free. The inside was quite simple but still very interesting to visit. The cathedral is situated in the pedestrian zone of the city so very easy to get to on foot. More

The cathedral is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Personally, I prefer the intricate Gothic design of the outside over the comparatively simple inside. I especially like the cathedral during Christmas time when they have an old merry-go-round and an ice rink right in front of it. I also like the whole area around the cathedral.... More
