I know you can get both Chateau'd / Cathedralled-out, but Quimper's Cathedral is unusual (see for yourself). It is well worth a visit.

The stunning architecture of the cathedral ensures this building makes a big statement as to it's importance, and it totally dominates the city and it's surroundings. It is well worth a look inside to see the amazing roof, stained glass, pulpit, statues, and organ.

The cathedral was beautiful and awe-inspiring!!! If you go to Quimper, it is definitely a "must-see."

*If you're in the city in the evening, the lights are really beautiful in the summer, so take...

Serenely set in the middle of a quiet pedestrian mall, this beautiful Gothic cathedral's architecture will take your breath away. Inside the cathedral is a beautiful simplicity. A historic pictorial time time through the annals of history is a must-see highlight.
