Stayed at Hautefort at Belle Vue Campsite, which is owned by Simon and Cal.The site has clear views to the Chateau. We visited this site while staying in Versac, driving about an hour to get to the site. It was well worth the drive as the Chateau was quite lovely. This chateau is beautiful and it has a perfect spot. The story of the chateau is told in the form of a film with English subtitles. The rooms are a lid out nicely and the gardens are superb. Parking is free. More
