Although the house has not been restored to its full Tudor glory, it was an interesting look into the past. There were some informative displays and information. My favorite part was the gardens planted with herbs, vegetables, etc. as a funcational garden would have been at this time. More

i really enjoyed rothe house and gardens. The House, 3 houses actually, were seen on a self guided tour and there was a good leaflet to direct us through the buildings. The gardens are beautiful and so peaceful. The admission price is also very low so its great value. The house does have information on other aspects of history too,... More

I didn't get past the gift shop but oh what fun and helpful the staff (esp Winefred). Plan on contacting them to help me with tracking my anchesters. I recommend everyone walk in, smile and experience the friendships that will be with you the rest of your lives. More

It's worth the low entrance fee to wander through these buildings for half an hour or so. More

I just went to the Rothe House and Gardens today and it was quite lovely. Although self-guided, a lot of information was provided through the written descriptions in each room. The building itself is quite beautiful outside and filled with interesting artifacts and facts inside. I'm very pleased that I stumbled upon it. More

I really enjoyed the self-guided tour of the Rothe House. It is a merchants house (3 of them actually). It was very fun to tour. There are informative placards set-up in each room and you carry around a room-by-room direction map. I really liked the tour. More
