The area is gorgeous with beautiful trees, woodlands and fields. The view of the lakes is perfect and by walking you fet a chance to see the Abbey up close with is well worth the time.

We took a horse drawn cart into the forest and it was lots of fun and entertaining. Our driver, Bill, was fantastic and posed a little bit of the blarney. The Ross Castle ruins were amazing. Highly recommend it!

A great number of trails to walk. Some easy, and some more strenuous. We were surprised by the seclusion in some areas. The views are spectacular, and now one can see why Killarney Provincial Park, Ontario bears the name.

We took a horse drawn carriage ride into the park and heard some local history on the way. A must see if in Killarney.

We took the horse-drawn jaunting car trip through the park. Our guide was very entertaining and informative. We were able to see the largest of the lakes and had a good view of Ross Castle. It was a nice break from bus travel.

This is a huge park and very lovely, indeed. Within walking distance of many hotels and located a block or two from the downtown. I think it is 23 acres but could be more. Beautiful flowers, tons of trees, birds, etc. Don't miss it!

Lovely scenery- beautiful easy walks well signposted A pity the coffee shop closes so early - 5 o' clock officially we were told but this appears to be about 4.40 for entry.

Me and my wife absolutely LOVED Killarney National Park! The entire park is beautiful - you could easily spend several days visiting the area to drive all around it, hike, or simply sit and enjoy. In particular, drive up the main road through the park past Muckross House up to Ladie's View -- AMAZING views! There's a little giftshop/cafe --... More

This is one of the most beautiful places to visit. The lakes, the other natural features, the castle, the house and gardens, the abbey the flora and fauna are trully spectacular. It is a truly wonderful day out to just enjoy the walks, listen to the birds and take in the views. One does not actually have to spend any... More

Wonderful views and interesting stops. Avoid peak periods for traffic! If travelling in June-August period set out early. Also watch the weather forecasts!
