My review on Ross Castle included this great Island and the two religous structures. Really a great one hour excursion. The boat trip is 10 euros/person. I would think a group could negotaite a better price. Really fun to get on the water.

We took the inexpensive shuttle from Ross Castle to Innisfallen Island on Lough Leane and it was a most pleasant experience! The boat ride over was easy and smooth, even though the weather wasn't ideal, and the ruins of the monastery are fascinating. I only wish that we had more time and there were more signs to read.
