Maintained by the Department of Arts Heritage you were treated to a view of the past as actors fed and entertained you. The food and wine was passable but the entertainment was enjoyable. Better food would have made for better value.

Beautiful gardens and a very impressive interior. The guide (Mary) provided a very vivid and understandable tour experience.

Muckross House is very lovely and the tour guide was very informative. The gardens are wonderful. I highly recommend this attraction. Food in their cafe is good and reasonable.
excellent location with good walks lakeside . Jaunting cars run regularly for those that enjoy a pony and trap type ride for a fee. the driver/operator giving interesting information on location and is available to "jaunt" to the Torc Waterfall. There is an entrance fee for Muckross House
