ireland has so many postcard scenes everwhere you go, and this is one. Lots of photo ops here overlooking Galway Bay. Was working on the Quay during the Volvo Ocean Race stopover. Great coouple of weeks craic in Galway and can only remember lying out in the sunshine eating my lunch on Galway Bay... must do it again

we stopped a number of times along the way to take pictures. at one place we picked up some very interesting tumbled rocks that had green and pink colors in them. turns out that they are granite so makes for a nice souvenir of the place.

We went for a nice walk around the bay area. Thankfully the weather was holding up. No rain and sunny afternoon. It is a nice area to go for a walk and get outside.

Its just Great 5 minute drive from Galway city & ease of access for exploring Connemara and the Aran Islands. I loved it
