Nice beach but only got to see it while it was raining so can't really see much. Loved the size, grant for joggers and there were plenty of them.

Fab buzz in the Summer with people walking the prom and people soaking up the sun when it comes out. Loads of restaurants, pubs, café's & hotels.

Beautiful on a good day, short walk from city centre. Very Quirky public toilets. Such a shame the derelict buildings let the area down

Make sure you get to the beach. It was low tide and there was a lot of seaweed, but we looked for shells and had a lot of fun.

Clean and wild. easily accessible, free parking. Hurdy Gurdies in Summer are great for kids and adults. O Connors bar close by which has great Music at weekends and bank holidays.

The beach at Salthill is very nice. A bit narrow perhaps but the walk on the prom is worthwhile. Always a busy spot to visit even off season

I ran to the beach everyday and spent about an hour, picking up shells and talking to the locals. There were always people down there with friends or walking their dogs.

Lovely rich scenery and joyous weather brings people to Salthill. Lovely refreshing walk and great place for some photos for the mantile piece

This is a very nice place to come for a walk along the beach. We were here in winter and it was still very nice. Luckily, it was a clear day.

The beaches are really popular when the weather is good. The prom is mobbed then and you can't move for the crowds. It's just a terrible pity we don't have the weather to spend the whole summer on the beach. That would be something.
