I parked at the Quay and walked up along the River Corrib when I saw the Cathedral in the distance. It is a beautiful walk along the tree lined river and through the Spanish Arch. The size and scope of this incredible structure takes the breath away for sure. The solemnity is understandably compromised as it is a 'must see' on any trip to Galway.
