My wife and I took this tour while staying in Galway. The hikes were neat and showed the beauty of the Connemara region. On our hike, we took a quick photo stop at Kylemore Abbey and climbed Diamond Hill in the morning, had a quick lunch, and then hiked around Omey Island (only accessible on foot during low tide). The... More

I just finished a 2 week vacation in Ireland, and honestly, this was the best money I spent during the entire trip. Shane takes you to some absolutely spectacular sites, and he is a pleasure to be around. If you feel like taking a break from the city/town life and getting to see the wildlife on the ground, do this! More

My wife and I recently shared a private day trip with Shane, and it was perfect from the moment he picked us up at our hotel to the moment he returned us. Fantastic walking in tremendous beautiful countryside was what we got - and with a heat haze in Ireland, can you believe - but Shane was the star of... More

My sister and I had a wonderful time hiking in Connemara with Shane. He is highly educated and very knowledgeable about the Connemara region including the flora and fauna, and is humble enough to acknowledge what he doesn't know. Shane points out the little things that one might miss easily. He adjusts the schedule depending on the weather and the... More

Bam!! This is an "excellent" value for the money, very intimate and special! Leave the car at home and leave it to Shane! The likeable and easy-going Shane enjoys his work and it shows. He lovingly introduces you to the sights the way only a local can. You can't beat it. You are not likely to see all this on... More

We went on this walking tour with Shane, he was very knowledgeable and showed us around. The walking tour is an all day event, but truly worth it. It's picturesque landscapes and unbelievable views made this a highlight of our stay. Shane's knowledge of the history of Ireland was spot on and made this a trip to remember. More

My wife, daughter, and I booked a tour with Shane in March 2012. We were sooo impressed with the tour! Shane took us to Mam Ean which is a mountain pass where St. Patrick stayed and preached. The area was amazing as was the information Shane shared with us about the area. We then climbed Diamond Hill in the afternoon.... More
