Our room (#2) had a terrific view of the Samuel Beckett Bridge. It was so beautiful we hardly wanted to shut the curtains at night. The breakfast provided was made to order. Very nice locale. Just a hop, skip, and a jump from everything downtown in Dublin. Close to public transportation. Bartender, Jimmy, was nice enough to set us up... More

MY FIRST TIME TO THE FERRY MAN, THE PLACE HAS A LOVELY ATMOSPHERE EXCEPT FOR ONE OLDER BARMAN . FLOOR STAFF (GIRL) VERY NICE , I was at the dirty dancing show thursday night, when it came to my round which cost approx. €35.00, to my disgust, the barman was extremely rude, it seemed to me that I was inconvinencing... Visited the ferryman while staying in a nearby hotel and attending a show at the Grand Canal Theatre. Warm welcoming atmosphere, and a great pint to top it off. Will most definitely return on our next visit to the area. More

A Pub with a Great atomsphere, to enjoy a drink before or after a concert at the O2 ( which is only 5 minutes walk away). Reasonable priced pints, compared to other bars in Dublin. Accommodation is also available at the Ferryman, a great place for a 'Boys' or 'Girls' weekend away. More

Came here for a drink after a show in the point. Expensive for alcohol and to add staff not that friendly. Plenty of other pubs in the area. My advice give this venue a miss. More

We stayed for one night. Check in was fast and efficient. Staff were friendly. Room was small but perfect for two. Beds very comfortable, bathroom clean and functional. Views over the Liffey and of Beckett Bridge and CCD are nice too. Breakfast was very good. Will definitely use it again. More

Loved our brief stay at the Ferryman. nice, clean roon; great linen but surely the best thing has to be the view!!! Riverside, water edge - whatever, a view of the Liffey beside the Samuel Beckett bridge and opposite the new Convention centre is just fantastic. Will definitely visit again. Despite being over the pub and beside a busy corner... More

Stayed Thursday and Friday night overlooking the Liffey above the bar, slept soundly, fantastic views, spotlessly clean rooms, REAL friendly staff, traditional bar - ceol agus craic, suitable for everyone apart from the elderly (no lift). I got a real feel for Dublin staying here, people from all over the world. If Ronnie Drew was alive he would sign about... More

Stayed at The Ferryman over the August bank holiday weekend. We arrived just before 11pm and the bar was heaving. Our room (number 2) was directly above the bar and the music could be heard clearly (it even made the sink in the bathroom vibrate!) The room was very basic, but to be expected for the price. However small things... More
