The ghostbus tour drops off at the cemetery, it was part of the tour, but the main reason for stopping was the Irish pub next door. Not the kind of pub you might choose, but looks are deceiving ,it was very freindly and I for one are glad we stopped.

The guided tour was exceptionally good. It accounted political and social history of Ireland based on many well known people buried there, as well as an interesting account of the cemetery itself. Highly recommended for Dubliners and visitors to the county.

It's Bloomsday - 16th June - and Sunday, town is busy with many events related to Joyce's Ulysses. I try the Blooms tour at Glasnevin Cemetery but it's booked out. So my mother in law Pat and I get tix for the regular tour, our tour guide is Bridget. The tour lasted nearly two hours, it was fascinating, B was... More

My husband and I took the guided tour in late May. Paddy did a wonderful job. He was passionate and seemed to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the cemetery and all the people resting there. We were short on time and, therefore, did not get to stroll around on our own nearly as much as we would have liked. If... More

Paddy was our tour guide and he was unreal, one of the best tours I've ever been on. The Glasnevin trust are doing a brilliant job and I'll definitely go back to see it again.

We had an hour and a half's tour of this amazing place. I didn't realise how huge it was and that over a million people are buried there. The history was both fascinating and moving and it was a glorious day. The actor who spoke Pearse's words over O'Rossa's grave was superb.

I went to visit Glasnevin Cemetery with a group from our local museum. We had a wonderful tour with a superb guide who was ready and able to answer any questions that were posed to him. When I visited the museum there was a group of school children there and they were enthralled by the displays and all the information... More
