Apparentely this is 6 times larger than Hyde Park! One can one saw about a park? It was really lovely and I wished I had had more time to spend there.

Visited the Park in August. went for a walk in the western side - beautiful peaceful place in the heart of the city. Wildlife all around. Enjoyed a picnic as did lots of others. Would recommend for a picnic if visiting an attraction near by like the zoo,
Hire a bicycle to see this park. There is a lovely tea room on the main avenue with great food! Alternatively Farmleigh has a good cafe on the grounds and the visitors centre beside Aras an Uachtarain is good for snacks too. The deer are almost tame!
Phoenix Park is a great amenity for visitors and for locals. Rent a bike and you can explore the woods, visit the Zoo, watch some cricket or football, have lunch in the cafe by the Zoo or the visitors centre or at Farmleigh. Look out for special events that are on ranging from Christmas markets at Farmleigh to 5K races.... More
