We walked through, and although the campus was pretty it didn't feel like anything special. If you are in Dublin, you will probably inevitably walk through campus at some point on your way here or there. I wouldn't consider this a destination.

We had a nice stroll around the campus and then found a quiet cafe to have lunch nearby. There was quite a long line to visit The Book of Kells so we didn't get a chance to see it...but we'll definite return someday!

...until June 2013! But it's easy to find, in a nice Georgian neighborhood. We were disappointed to find it closed.

We took the walking tour on a beautiful sunny morning before checking out the Book of Kells. Our tour guide, Dani, is a student at the College and was very informative and knowledgeable. The stories about the College were quite interesting. The tour price includes admission to the Book of Kells and is only a few euros extra so it... More

By all means take the brief outdoor tour conducted by one of the students. Very informative and humorous, and he/she will answer most any question you have. Our guide provided great insight to the college, it's student body and general college data. Inside the college make sure you go to the long Library, but skip the Book of Kells. Overrated... More

Many people just go to Trinity College to see the Book of Kells, but its worth doing the walking tour as well. The gudes are college students and they tell the history of the college and provide some good insights into Irish history and modern student life. For example, we didn't know that a Catholic could be excomminicated for studying... More

When you visit Dublin, it is worth to walk around these buildings and the library which is in one of these.

Free to enter (unlike the library itself), and worth a stroll around on even only 1 day's visit to Dublin. While a good deal older than most, it reminded me of the early American university campuses dotted across the Atlantic coast which were founded in the mid-late 1700s. It's a worthy muse if those campuses are modeled after it.

The library is the most fascinating place of everything at Trinity College. It is worth paying the 9 Euros to go in and look at all the educational items before looking at the Book of Kells and other monk written books. Once you are done in this section, you are directed to see the vast library that is a very... More
