Bit of a walk to get there, but it is a nice little church and we thoroughly enjoyed climbing up into the tower and ringing the bells! More

Located in a great part of Cork. Well worth the walk through a very charming neighborhood. The tower is full of history and character. The views from the top are awesome. Very friendly staff. The stairs are narrow and a bit steep but made it all the more worthwhile. More

We were going to ring the bells, but after climbing the Blarney Castle steps the day before - we opted out of climbing another narrow, old stairwell. The church and grounds however a wonderful, full of history. We learned from the locals they affectionately call this "the four face liar” - as all four clocks on the steeple are off/not... More

a must if your in cork .you need to have good legs and a head for heights. a great place to get the layout of the city. they also let you play the bells ,but do not hang around in the bell room at 12o'clock or you will have ringing in your head for the day More

We visited Shandon as part of the open top bus tour of Cork City. It is well worth a visit as ringing the church bells is great fun, and you don't often get the opportunity to do it! The view from the top is amazing too! More

We knew we wanted to ring the bells, so we got our ear protection and headed up the stairs. Even though there are not a lot of pieces of music (and they are, weirdly, mostly 70's songs - ???), we had a blast pulling the ropes and playing all sorts of tunes, but we couldn't understand why we had the...
