Cameron, our guide was brilliant! I didn't even know about his tour until I saw a shady looking man in a kilt on a street corner in Inverness. "This looks like a walking tour" I thought to myself. I was right, a 'scary histories' walking tour. Our guide,Cameron, was not only funny but also very informative. He was on mission... More

Took the tour while we were in Inverness for a couple of days during a touring holiday. Cameron, the guide, was great fun and very informative. We tend to do walking tours of cities when we travel as we find them a great way to orientate ourselves and get a feel for the atmosphere of a place. This was no... More

I recently did this walking tour with Cameron. We all really enjoyed learning about Inverness and just had a really good laugh during the entire tour. Thanks!!!!! :) I'd definitely recommend it. More

We went to Inverness on a day trip to visit Loch Ness, and we had some free time before we catch our train, so we were advised to take the Crime and Punishment Tour at 7 pm. It was a free one-hour tour, guided by a nice guy called Cameron, who took us to several places where some evil-funny stories... More

We were disappointed to find out that the 11am Inverness Walking Tour was not actually given “We Operate 365 Days A Year! Every day at 11am, 1pm or 3pm” as advertised on their web site http://happy-tours.biz/. When we got to the specified location at a quarter to 11, the helpful person in the Tourist Information Center told us that the... More

The best thing to do when visiting Inverness is to take the walking tour. It's cheap, lots of fun and Cameron is excellent at helping you get your bearings in Inverness (whilst also being very witty and informative). Skip visiting the tourist information centre and just look for the 'man in kilt' instead. More

Cameron met us outside the city's tourist information, and never stopped smiling. Along the walk around town we learnt some secrets, how to talk Scottish properly, some swear words in Celtic and had great laughs. he answered all our questions but there was one he never answered: what is he really wearing beneath his kilt?... This is an hour-long walking tour around Inverness on crime, punishment and other gory stories(!) in the olden times. The guide is Cameron, a wonderful Scot in a wonderful kilt who is so enthusiastic about what he tells you. We were with our two children (23 and 25) and we all loved it. Even his wonderful Scottish accent was a... More

Gran took 8 year old on Cameron's Rickshaw Tour around the City for a birthday treat. They both loved it. Cameron can be found just below the Tourist Office - he is instantly recognisable as the 'man in the kilt' More
