Great place to visit on a wet day while on holiday. Spent an interesting couple of hours here wandering round at our own pace. Brings home to you the frightening horrors of nuclear war. Marvellous how this was kept secret. We also enjoyed a nice meal in the cafe where staff were friendly and helpful. More

Visited here 20th May on a gorgeous day.Entering inside puts all that behind you and takes you into armageddon world. You get to see the workings and running of what would have been the last bastion of government in this country. It is more thought provoking to someone of my age(55)who would have been around in these nightmare days but just another... Visited here on 9th May 2012 while holidaying in Fife. It's a very interesting place and took me back to my childhood when we were all issued with information booklets re what to do during a nuclear attach. I guess it was the state of the art back in the day but the technology looks so old fashioned now. There's... More

Interesting in that you get to see inside a once-secret military installation but an unusual usage of high street shop mannequin dolls dressed in fatigues. There was a lot of information to read and a bit too much army surplus crammed into the underground facility, but worth a visit to get a feel for the cold war. More

Very interesting attraction which definitely has more to see than you're expecting. Lots of reading and watching to fill you in on a fascinating place. Some of the information could be better presented (lots and lots of small writing in places) but worth a visit. Apparently we were quite privileged to meet Cleo the Cat who lives there as she... Thought provoking! Rather old fashioned in its presentation , but lots to look at. We were here for 2.5 hours, longer than we had first anticipated. Useful to rent an audio player ( this is also old fashioned and has a limited volume control) can share one between group. £9 adult admission. Use a Spree voucher if taking children. Initially... My parents and I hae been waiting for 4 years (since I started uni) to visit the Secret Bunker. It was worth the 4 year wait - as we spent a good 2.5 hours in there. Ok, so some of the stuff is a bit old - but then again, it's meant to be. The audio guide was a definite... More

This was our second visit as we felt that we were short of time on the first. Very informative, thought provoking and fascinating place to visit. Very well laid out and suitable for all ages. Definitely allow at least 2 hours to take it all in but one of the best attractions in Scotland. My husband and I found the... More

This is a must if you happen to be in the area. There is lots to see so give yourself a couple of hours at least so that you can see it all. The only downside is the cafe - expensive and not all that good in my opinion More

I was sooooooo looking forward to this attraction and wasn't completely disappointed! I think it is a fascinating piece to our Scottish history and think it's great that we can all view it, even though it is a tad on the expensive side for entry. I think there are a few things that could be improved on - the actual... More
