My husband & I had the most wonderful 3 days in Edinburgh thanks to Helen & Robert. I can't imagine any tour out there that can give you a more personalized, more interesting and simply, a more heart-warming experience than Helen & Robert. I must add, my husband & I have very high expectations of traveling. We are well travelled... More

My husband wanted to see Culross, the village his ancestors came from and Robert (Helen's husband) researched the area so he could give us in-depth background on Culross. Robert picked us up at our B&B and spent the whole day with us. He was knowledgeable, friendly, willing to stop wherever we wanted, and focused totally on giving us a wonderful... More

Helen picked us up at the airport and took us to Cramond Point in N.W. Edinburgh where she and her family live. She took us to the point and we saw low tide and took many pictures. Then we went to her house and had tea. Helen not only had tea, but many goodies to eat, and after airplane food... More

We recently met Helen during our visit to Edinburgh and had a great day out exploring East Lothian. I was travelling with my teenage daughter and Helen immediately put us both at ease with her charm and grace. She is a teriffic communicator with a lovely sense of humour and great pride in her heritage which was evident as we... More

My sister and I traveled to Edinburgh for the first time in March. We are both pretty seasoned travelers and always interested in seeing everything we can but not on the usual tour busses or crowded ways. We are always looking for something a little more unexpected and unconventional and we couldn't have been more pleased! We knew we weren't... More

Helen offers the afternoon tea tour but we did a whole day with her exploring outside the city of Edinburgh. She was wonderful-full of information and was willing to do things our way. Waterfall, castle countryside, etc. She was very careful of my tender knee and planned accordingly. She picked us up at our hotel and returned us there at... More

Helen was fabulous. She not only met our desires and needs, she exceeded them. We spent a day touring the country and seeing castles and palaces...that was the expected. Helen was able to also show us JK Rowlings home, the suspended bridge and more. We were traveling with our teenage daughter, and Helen was able to provide all of us... More

For my mothers 60th birthday I took a gamble and engaged Helen and Afternoon Tea Tours to treat my "Mum" to a tour of Edinburgh. As with most things in life, calculated risks can sometimes yield the highest rewards. Helen was everything I could have asked for. She went well above and beyond the call of duty and made my... I had the privelege of traveling to Edinburgh with my husband. However, he was traveling for business, and I would be on my own . Therefore, my son arranged for me to take a tour with Helen. Helen is a lovely person and a great tour guide. She is warm, knowledgable and obviously loves her native Scotland very much. She... More

I had such a great time with Helen! She is a wonderful tour guide and an lovely person! I only had one day in Edinburgh and I was definitely glad I spent it with Helen. We spent the day exploring the city together, she knew all the best spots to show me and catered to my interests. All in all... More
