Invarery is a nice town at the end of a large sea lough the maritime centre was good with clear information.Invarary jail is well worth a visit.

Moored at the pier at Inveraray,on Loch Fyne,is a remarkable little ship, "Arctic Penguin"only 400 tonnes,but with a wealth of history. This was a highlight of my break in Inveraray, absolutely loved the Maritime Museum, a real treasure.
Got speaking to the staff and it's privately owned, no funding received from anyone to keep this running, it must be a real labour of love.
Very informative regarding all aspects of maritime heritage around Scotland.
