Went to Glamis Castle on the day when the Highland Games were taking place and there was a great buzz about it.The setting is spectacular. We got in half price because we had paid to get into the Games. We did the tour of the castle and the guide was really interesting and had lots of tales to tell. We...

We visited Glamis Castle using our ASVA passes and received a warm welcome from the chap at the Gatehouse. Our guide was Rod Wilson who was most professional and informative, his light brand of humour making the tour one which both my wife and myself enjoyed. I would have preferred more time to examine the portraits in more detail but...

Warm welcome from the gentleman at the gatehouse and informative and patient guide who managed to keep our 3 year old son interested throughout the tour. It was quite a quick tour through a few rooms only and more expensive than similar properties such as Scone Palace or Hopetoun House. Nice looking dining room and a good play park for...

Explaining my mobility problems I asked if they had a mobility scooter available? He replied that they did not but told us that my wife could tour the castle whilst I could watch a...

Spur of the moment afternoon out with my husband. Friendly, helpful staff. Great tour guide :) full of information and stories of ghosts, better than going round on your own. Had delicious coffee and cake in the restaurant followed by a walk round the gardens. All the old trees are so majestic and enchanting :) all round relaxing afternoon.
