Took an early morning walk down Union Street then on to Beach Boulevard before hitting the beach and taking a right past the pleasure mile. Footdee is at the end of the prom and is a delightfuly quirky trendy retro village. Tiny fishermans cottages and huts some of which are decorated in an naive folk art kind of way. We... More

This place is great to see when the weather is nice, it has everything one expects of seaside, quaint fishermen's cottages, beautiful beaches, little coffee shops, kiosks and boutiques not too far away, running trail by the beach, and so on. Don't miss out on cute Old Harbour Master's house in the shape of lighthouse, and the new Maritime department... More

Cute little fishing village very pretty takes a matter of minutes to walk round tho so would advice for it to b something you do as well as something else and not plan to stay the whole day if you visiting Aberdeen as you may be disappointed

Interesting to walk around this small village which does not appear to have changed over the last 150 years. Surrounded by docks and pleasure beach. Apart from looking at the quaint old cottages not much else to do but a pleasant 1 hour walk.

Nice quiet area near the centre of Abredeen where one can step back in time. Free parking and lovely narrow lanes to walk through.

Beautiful, historic little settlement, right on the seafront - a photographer's dream. This is where all that foam piled in to cover the back lanes during the big storm at the end of 2012.

An old fishing village in Aberdeen where you will find cute little cottages of a bygone era. Many cottages have well cared and are decorated with ornaments, mobiles etc. The gardens are also cleverly decorated with different themes and were full of brightly coloured ornaments and flowering bulbs. If you are a photographer there are many photo opportunities here. I... More

Wow, what an interesting place this is to walk around. Just at the bottom end of Aberdeen Beach and after walking past what looks like an industrial estate on the land side, you come across this little gem. We could not get over how quaint and peaceful the little streets were. It felt like something from days gone by where... More

Footdee is definitely worth a visit and a walk around. It's a very small, quaint area with interesting architecture and character.

Fittie was a wonderful old style fishing village with each home having its individual character and only minutes from the centre of Aberdeen.
