I'm from N Ireland and visited this beach today. I paid £3.50 to drive in with my family. The beach was a long walk away from the car park area and the area was very dirty. The café was closed and no toilets were handy. The beach itself is very average having mostly pebbles above the high tide area and... More

A reserve of sand dunes with long peaceful walks with lots of rabbits that ends on a long strand beach. Very good views.

Fab views but spolit by dog walkers not lifting up after their animals, the boardwalk was covered in mess.

This is a wonderful reserve with an amazing array of flora and fauna. Walking the shore-line towards the stunning Mountains of Mourne is a memory that will last forever.

It is a very peaceful place with lots of photo opportunities!! Even in mid winter it was beautiful! A short drive from the Slieve Donard and so much more to do and see in the local area. Very nice!

A popular walk for couples and families. A walk through the reserve brings you to the best beach in the area. Great for a picnic on a sunny day. A good place to walk the dog.

Murlough NNR is well worth a visit, winter or summer. Parking is available even if you aren't a National Trust member and you can choose to have a long walk or a stroll on the beach. It will take you 10/15 minutes to reach the beach but when the tide is out there is a fine stretch of sand to... More

A striking landscape of sea, sandunes, flora & fauna. In October the gorse is in flower but it's best to aee it at its best in the spring & early summer when the rare birds are butterflies are around
