We went to the visitor centre on impulse & are so glad we did.It is very informative both for Old Cardiff & Modern The staff are great & so helpful.If you get the chance visit.

As with all Tourist Information centres, it has a hive of information on the surrounding area. Its location is in the centre of the City and shares part of the building (previously the old library) with the Cardiff Story. This being the history of Cardiff.
When I visited there were still brochures on display advertising events that had passed over a month before! There should be a larger book selection featuring the best of local histories and other publications featuring Cardiff. There should also be a 'what's on' for each day - listing arts events, sporting fixtures etc. I didn't see much evidence of this... More
Your first port of call for any visit to Cardiff and/or indeed Wales! Staff are the best and will theier excellent knowledge will enhance your experience of the city. Nice range of unique gifts - loves the 'diff!
The vistior centre seems to have lost some of its shine over the years. It is pretty much what you'd expect of any visitor centre.
