Our visit to The Tower was compromised by the weather & our lack of suitable clothing. It was -1C with a wind at about 40kph. Once we got into the tower the views & information were rewarding. Getting back to the car was a cooling experience. Thermals were purchased the next day.

One of the things one must do in the Cotswolds is to go on its famous walkway. This public footpath goes through numerous privately owned farms, with gates ensuring that the livestock from one does not flee to another one. You just open the gate walk through and close it behind you. This walk to Broadway Tower turned out to... More

Well worth a couple of hours here for £4.80. Suggest you go on a summy day and admire the views! Interesting history here from when it was built (1800) to it's military use up till the 1990's. It was once even a house!

Perched on a step hill overlooking Broadway village below and Evesham in the mid distance, this location provides amazing views West and North West towards the Malvern Hill and the Black Mountains on the horizon. The tower itself is relatively un-interesting, and charging £5 a head admission makes it expensive. The views from the top aren't that much better than... More

What a little treasure this deli is. You could almost miss it thinking it was a fruit a veg stores but its got a great little conservatory at the back where you can mill the time away eating all the wonderful food it sells. The staff are beyond friendly and I took a particular liking to this cute, confident, polite... More

Lovely weather and a lovely walk. Enjoyed a light lunch in the cafe and a pleasant walk in the tower grounds

Interesting exhibits on each of the 3 levels as you climb up. Even though it was a bit hazy on the day of our visit, the views were still worth it and the climb isn't that bad. Hiking up through sheep pastures in lambing season (April) as we did, made the experience even better. Lambs are adorable.

Tower was open on this visit & with my wife we climbed to the top. Interesting exhibits on the way up & superb long distance views at the top. Worth the climb. Then went for a walk around the area; most enjoyable day.

Hiking across the fields to the Tower is the epitome of a walk on the footpaths in the Cotswolds. We even took a baby in a jogging stroller, which worked fine in that terrain. (We did have to lift it over several stiles, though.)

We didn't go into the tower as it was late in the day and closed. The views from the hill on which it stands are very nice though.
