I live in Windsor, and i have done quite a lot of extensive sports training in this park. I love it there, its beaitiful and fresh and you can just escape. What i would say about it though, is that it is a little unclear where you can and cannot go, and the full extent of it. I have only... More

Windsor Great Park is definitely worth a visit. If driving, there is ample free parking in Windsor Great Park (if coming from Windsor Town follow the directions towards Ascot and you will see ample parking on the left or right). If walking, it is easy to walk from Windsor Town Centre/Castle area. The long mile is beautiful, with the twin... More

This is a must in Windsor....been coming here for years, but just recently ran a 10K round the park from long walk, up to the black horse take a left, walk all around in great big circle, back to Black horse and back down the long walk. Views of Windsor Castle are the best you can get. Enjoy!

We arrived at the park early and did the 'long walk' it was lovely and serene! We saw rabbits, squirrels, deer and a woodpecker! We would have liked to have seen a little bit more information about the park but we later did a open top bus tour around Windsor which filled in the gaps for us. We met lovely... More

Amazing how this place shows how letting dogs into buildings and great landscapes need not be a problem. People just walk into the amazing Savile building with dogs to get information etc. Sadly that actually seems unusual to see that these days. Also there are dog-free places for people who don't want to be around dogs which is fine by... More

The park was extremely beautiful. The only problem was there was no information anywhere in the park to tell you some of its history only do's and don'ts.

The scenery is lovely. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. You can see deer and horses as well as wildlife around the ponds and lake. Virginia Waters is a beautiful place to go to also, which forms part of the park. It is worth getting a map or a book to decide where to start and what to visit.... More
