Pat Shelley did a wonderful job of accommodating us even though his schedule was full! He arranged for another very capable guide, Jim Baker, to meet us for a 4:45 am (yikes!) rendezvous at Stonehenge. Not only did we get a very in depth picture of how the henge came to be, but we also toured the surrounding area to... More

Hats off to Pat Shelley. This man knows what he's talking about. I went on a tour with him and a small group of others on June 1st and I can tell ya, once we stepped into the car he made us all feel like a great big family. He got us all to introduce ourselves, tell us a little... More

Just got back from a London and Paris trip (family of four with two teenage daughters), including an after hours Stonehenge tour with Pat. To sum it up, Pat's tour was one of the top highlights for all of us on the whole trip. Both educational, and entertaining, Pat gave us a great understanding of the area and people that... More

We went to Stonehenge not really sure what to expect as we had heard you couldnt get close to the stones anymore, this isnt really true, they are fenced off, with a very low fence, but you can quite understand why and it didnt spoil our enjoyment at all. The tour is fascinating, we picked up some audio guides, these... More

Pat Shelley's vast knowledge of Stonehenge makes this tour outstanding. This is the best way to experience Stonehenge: in a small group with a guide who has a true love and excitement about his subject. With Pat, we were able to walk among the stones while he provided us with background information and observations that I am sure no other... More

This was an outstanding tour. Pat Shelly brings Stonehenge and the area to life in a way you won't find on a giant tour bus. We had some weather challenges - it was cold, windy, and raining on and off. But the magic of Stonehenge shone through as we hiked over fields to see the barrows that you would never... More

Pat Shelly's guided tour of Stonehenge and its surrounds was well worth it. He provided archaeological facts and findings to indicate why the site was in existance and by taking us to additional sites such as wood henge, durrigton walls and the barrows he added a degree if atmosphere and understanding of the landscape that cannot be found in an... forget the lines, forget the audio tours, forget the crowds. Insread, take a tour with Pat Shelly and find out about the real prehistory of stonehenge and surrounds. Walk the footsteps of those gone before in the avenue and experience stonehenge coming into view. A magical and moving time. Then to see the stones and walk around them...indescribable. Pat Shelly tours... More

I stumbled upon this tour on tripadvisor and after reading all the great reviews, decided to book it. Not only did it deliver, but it was so much more! Pat has extensive knowledge of the sites and his enthusiasm is contagious. I truly felt sorry for all of the people that booked large faceless tours. I am sure that they... More

We had 12 in two vans. Multi-stop visit with much more information and background than I'd expected. Our trip to Stonehenge was the highlight of a 4 week trip. We were able to get inside Stonehenge at sunset with this tour. Pat made the trip even more special than we'd expected it to be.
