We’ve just recently visited Keighley & Worth Valley Railway when it was a special Railway Children weekend, we had our two boys with us who thoroughly enjoyed the experience – as well as the adults! You get a guided tour on the old train with a guide telling you all about the history of the film and how it was... More

It was the 'Railway Children' weekend last weekend at the Worth Valley railway in Haworth, se stepped back in time to a bygone era, and wished we could have stayed there, the courtesy and thoughtfulness that was displayed by everyone on all the stations was wonderful to experience. The children were mesmerised at it all and there are some really... More

We went on the railway children tour, travelled on a steam train, got off and had a 2 hour walking tour seeing where the film was filmed, lovely little villages especially Haworth, got back on the steam train and watched a couple of scenes being reinacted, very enjoyable day out More

It was the railway children weekend and the dressing up and the green dragons 125th birthday party just added to the fantastic day out we had... The family day rover ticket for £35 might seem expensive at first but for 2 adults and 2 kids for a full day out was brilliant.. It includes the visits to the museums and... More

It was like stepping back in time. The station has an old fashioned waiting room and even the toilets take you back in time. A lovely trip with the children, took approx 1-2 hours and there was entertainment provided throughout and a mince pie for the adults. The children both got a visit from Santa and quite a substantial gift. More
