The new cathedral has some really inspiring sculpture and some stunning stained glass, if the light is right, However, what I found best was that the ruins of the old cathedral have been preserved next to the new one. Its a poignant reminder of the costs of war and the follies of men. The new cathedral is also a reminder...

Stunning ruin, The new cathedral next door whilst lovely is not a patch on the beautiful medieval church. Well worth a vist to imagine its beauty, don't miss going up the tower to see the city from up high. Well worth doing. (Also go in St Mary's Guildhall adjacent to it).

A great comparison between new and old cathedral. The new cathedral is great experience – the quietness inside, the way that sounds travel.
It would be better if you didn't have to pay so much to enter.

He showed us around the cathedral and the ruins as well...

I took my American cousin and her friend to see the cathedral, with my 2 year old son. The artwork and coloured glass that are the windows were amazing to behold. There are 2 rooms to look around, 1 room showing photo's and leaflets about the bombings of Coventry and the cathedral itself. This room was very difficult to get...

Part of Coventry's history, when you walk into the ruins it has this feeling of strength. Someone would gladly give you the history of the ruins and the blitz. right next door you have the new cathedral and Holy Trinity Church.
