We walked from Stratford to Long Marston and back and enjoyed ourselves throughout the whole walk. It is really more a cycling I suppose but don't let that stop you. We met a deer, some fantastic birds and lots of rabbits....they were less impressed with us than we were with them. More

This is a loverly walk either into Stratford or out into rural Warwickshire, it's safe and quiet. I just hope they don't mess it up by reinstating the railway. This route is so popular with walkers, runners and cyclists it would be a real shame if the authorities spoilt this recreation for everyone. More

A lovely disused railway line with quirky railway carriage cafe. A great way to explore on foot or by bike. Definitely recommended. More

Our two children, 5 & 7 love the freedom of cycling along the greenway. Today we cycled from long marston to Stratford and back stopping at both carriages for refreshments. This is a great cheap day out, would highly recommend. More

Well after sitting at home a little bored this week we decided to break out and get some fresh air, on Wednesday we walked half of the greenway, stratford towards welford and today did the other half, welford to long marston. You can access the Greenway by road or, as we did, by footpath from the river just west of the town. Once there we came on some railway carriages, one providing some wecome refreshments and the other offering cycle hire, which we took up for the afternoon. 5 miles of flat and well maintained (easy cycling) track, past Stratford racecourse... this is a good place to enjoy a stroll, walk the dog, watch the wildlife, have a cycle ride, or just relax and watch the world go by. Have enjoyed this area of Stratford several times and will be visiting again. More
