The dig in the garden was great fun. The staff were firendly and helpful and we all really enjoyed it. More

New Place doesn't exist anymore. Archaeologists are there digging up what may be left of it and so far have found a well and some walls. Nash's House is interesting just to see the perspective of what it was like to live in a house like that back then and of course anything or anyone related to Shakespeare is of... More

Very nice and beautiful places, with huge fireplaces. History is all around the houses. The charge is included in the ticket you have already pay for birthplace, and the ticket is valid for one year so you can go again and again, or visit each place different days. But the most beautiful thing in all Shakespeare houses are the incredible... More

Time Team and co have demolished the front looking for evidence of Shakespeare's house but don't be put off. There are lovely grounds at the back. Nash's House is a little bit rubbish to be honest - the Birthplace, Anne H's and Mary A's are the best houses. More

Lived in the area for many years and never visited Nash's House. So glad I did because it is a real glimpse into history and with the bonus of a archeological dig taking place. Tour guide very informative and museum fascinating. There are options to buy a combined ticket which allows acces to some of the other Shakespeare Trust houses.... More

The house is alright but we found that talking to the archeaologists was the most interesting thing about this house. They are digging up the foundations of what they think is Shakespeare's house at the moment and it was fascinating talking to the volunteers and learning about what they had found. More

Unfortunately we never made it into what looked like it might be a really nice family experience as we were unwilling to pay nearly £50 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children to go into the 'dig Shakespeare' archeology activity. The kids were keen, we were keen but the only way you can go in to the dig... More

How fantastic to be here at the start of year 3 of the Dig for Shakespeare's house. Spent some time chatting with the archeologist on site, very interesting. More

Went as part of the 3 house ticket, the lady who spoke to us in the first room was very informative but did warn us a school group of 40 children were expected in about 10 minutes so we looked around quite quickly - would like to go back again. Gardens are stunning and the dig is very interesting. Wish... More
