As did we...before show drinks in the cavernous bar area followed by two hours of brilliant humour from the east end lad who was made to feel very welcome by an audience who obviously loved him. A minimal setting, just himself and a table for his water, plenty of room for him to 'ave a walk abaht'. One thing though,...

Micky Flannigan was extremely funny - excellent value - on stage for over two hours - with a break and encore. I love this venue but there could have been more people on at the bar in the break to be honest. The sound could have been just a little louder - we were in row FF and could hear...

We went to the city hall to see his show, and what a show it was. No special effects just him singing. It would be a mistake if the City Hall was to close, it is a part of the history of Newcastle. So come on City Hall get more top groups etc to come and play here.
We were there for Emeli Sande concert on Good Friday, great sound, comfy seats and helpful staff. Close to centre so walkable but also taxi rank nearby.

Hilarious man for nights in a row, I thought of the show highly and so did my parents when they went on a different night and my boyfriends parents wen they went on a different night again. It's a great venue to see comedians and even when upstairs it's been a good view and a great show. I've seen musicians...
