A great place for entertainment that has oozes history. It does lack some modern conveniences but it has charm, dignity and an interesting programme of concerts and events. Well run by an attentive team who respond to users as real people - unlike some other venues. More

Hadn't been to the City Hall for many years but went to see Australian Pink Floyd show with husband and teenage son. WE booked late and were at the very back of the balcony but still had an excellent view. Much better experience, in my mind, than a huge arena. More

Very nicely renovated, a long-standing Tyneside venue which is reasonably-priced and attracts good groups and comedians. City-centre location can make parking difficult but it is worth looking out for up-and-coming acts. More
