I would definitely recommend the Introduction to Wine Tasting evening to anybody who wants to learn a bit about the different wines out there. We got to try six different wines (3 white, 3 red) and learnt a lot about the region they were from as well as how to taste them properly. The course was definitely value for money... More

The class is held in an old converted barn adjacent to Blackfriars restaurant. There were about 20 of us (I think that's the maximum class size) and we were given six professional... More

Really enjoyed the evening's wine tasting. I certainly feel I know more about Napa Valley now and got to taste a great range of wines from the area. It's a fun way to spend an evening with old and new friends. Highly recommend it! More

This wine school first opened in 2000 and my husband and I went to the very first class - and we have been going ever since! Chris is a wonderfully enthusiastic and knowledgable teacher without being in the least bit stuffy or boring. He has a knack of finding the perfect balance between wine and chat and serves appropriate and... More

Simon Woods who gave the presentation was very informative and his delivery was excellent , the power point unusually good I have to say . This was a great opportunity to taste some very expensive wines at a very modest cost , and I for one was pleased to note that £100 cost of a bottle of wine did not... More

Really enjoyed being able to taste wines which I would not normally have tried. I was interested in the link between wines and the food they go best with. I feel I would like to know more and I believe there is a separate course on this. I would have liked to have learnt a little more of the technicalities... More

We were bought this by my Daughter and Fiance for our 25th Wedding Aniversary present, and what a super present it turned out to be. We enjoy sparkiling wine, and we were presented with a good cross section, at various price points. There was some very informative teaching on how sparkling wine is made, and the difference between the various... More
