Bath Tourist Board did not give a good impression when we called to visit looking for accommodation. Most unhelpful.

There wasn't a really good section to share travelling tips that aren't related to a hotel, etc.
Here are a few:
1. Show up as early as 10 AM for the free guided tours of Bath that start in the Abbey Courtyard. If you arrive later, they may either run out of guides or you'll have to wait. We highly...

Someone recommended the free walking tour of Bath to us during our first visit. It started at the Abbey at 10.30 on Sunday morning. Although we could only stay for the first hour of the two hour walk it was excellent and we would highly recommend this as an introduction to the city. Extremely well informed guide, more information than...

Very convenient free wifi which allowed us to check a map to find a few places we wanted to visit instead of paying £1 for a city map. £1 is cheap but you shouldn't have to pay for a simple city map. Thanks to the tourist information office for the free wifi and friendly staff!
On monday 3 December we visited Bath and at the suggestion of the Tourist Office turned up for the 10.30am walk. It was advertised as being of two hours duration and free. Yes, even tips are refused! The lady who took us was both delightful and informative and we thoroughly recommend that you too try one of these tours. They...

Expecting to have to pay we were amazed to discover the tours are operated free of charge by the Mayor of Bath honorary guides. The leaflet makes clear that...

Free to get information and is a must if you want to see around Bath properly. It has loads of information and it is all free which I cannot say enough times.

We bought combined tickets for three attractions; lunch in the Pump Room, 2 hours at the spa and a tour of the Roman Baths for £63 each. Not bad. Very helpful staff and a good collection...

For a tourist information office it couldn't be better located, right in the heart of Bath next to the Abbey. Mine of information and very helpful.
Went in Tourist Information office looking to do a walk. They told us about the free walking tours starting from outside the Roman Baths entrance. We went on the 2pm tour on Sunday 2 September. We started off promptly and spend a really interesting 2 hours being expertly guided around the city. This was a very professional tour and no...
