When I first visited it was still Mr Bowler's Business and contained only the excedingly varied but rather chaotic accumulation of artefacts from the brass founding, iron mongering and soft drink manufacture. One of the great places to visit and add to you bucket list! Easy to reach and nice to walk around in beautiful Bath and view this great museum. More

This houses the history nobody else bothers with, and it does it very well. quite a hike to get to, but housed in an old tennis court, so sort of makes sense. It shows an old bottling plant, and has displays of old industries such as brewing. You can impress your friends with details of plasticine that was invented in... More

This place is so good that & you can imagine the romans there I know that it is original but sometimes they lose something & are spoilt The history of it all is so great I could have spent hours there How they built these baths & buildings and how long it must have taken them or slaves to do... As a Bath resident, I may be biased - but I also know my local museums. Many of them are very good - but this one is excellent.
