This park gives from a balcony or from benches the most spectular birds-eye view of the city of Bath and the surrounding countryside. Breathtaking. Forget the bus tours and spend 20-30 minutes walking up to Alexandra Park to get a phenomenal view over Bath. As Alexandra Park/Beechen Cliff is on a round plateau, you can get a 360° impression of Bath from above. And it's free! More

Walk there if you can or drive into this small park if you can't.....for the best view of the City. Leave it until the end of your exploration of Bath, so that the various landmarks can be identified from personal experience. More

Friends recommended walking up the hill to the Park - worth the climb - fantastic views of Bath and if you have children there's a nice play area for them. More

If you want some exercise fast, try the walk from Bear Flat bus stop to the top of the park - and the view is well worth the effort. More
