Never heard of this place but my family told me that this was a must. Did some travel reading and this place is one thing you need to do when visiting England. Admission is a bet steep but what can you do. Interesting listening to the tour guides and roaming the internal museum. It's a real interesting site. This site... More

we visited bath and was told we must visit the roman baths whilst we were here which I must say we are glad we did they have preserved the ruin very well, the tour was well done with the little extras making it more interactive, the only thing is there is a bit of a wait but this is only... More

It's something you think you should do when you in Bath... And every other tourist was there doing the same. Not worth it.

Very evocative and amazingly well preserved. The only downside is that when a large party arrives it becomes very unpleasant as there is insufficient space and you are constantly jostled

You can't visit Bath and not visit the Roman Baths. The site is huge, with a plethora of exciting and evocative exhibits. It really feels like a step back in time and the museum skilfully makes you feel part of the experience rather than it being passive. Tip: Take the audio tour, it really brings it all to life, with... More

This tour takes at least 90 minutes but if you like history, how the Romans engineered the baths, and looking at artifacts from antiquity, this tour will not disappoint.

Not amazing value for money, but a good bit of entertainment. Despite what some... interesting reviews say, there is plenty to do inside beyond just looking at the baths. The audio guide is very interesting, and there are plenty of rooms and even a short, interesting film. If you like your Roman history this is a no-brainer.

Plan to spend about 2 hours at this great attraction. The audio guides were great, and you could listen to the history of the ruins, or hear about the baths from the point of view of someone living at the time, or hear the opinion of the curator. We didn't go the first time we went to Bath, and that... More

I got up early and took a train directly to Bath from London, specifically to view this site. The audio guide was just the thing to mosey around with on your own time. I did the Pump Room via the Abbey Churchyard but would not have benefited from the audio guide supplement. Then hared off in the late afternoon to... More

I came here many years ago now on a school trip and was amazed at the change and how much more there was here than I remembered. Of course these days it is much more hight tech but all the better for it. The audio guide included with your ticket is very well done-perfectly pitched-not too earnest or scholarly and... More
