The house provides visitors to the Crescent with an opportunity to look beyond the famous Palladian façade and see what life was like for the wealthy in 18th century Bath. Great to be able to actually walk around one of the Royal Crescent buildings, which was kindly brought and restored so that is mere mortals can have a look. I was impressed with the information given by the guides in each room about the times and decoration. I didnt mind paying the entrance fee and we received a money voucher... More

I understand they are raising money to pay for resoration but £26 is extortionate to see 4 rooms and a kitchen. More

Enthusiastic, knowledgable guides help to make this a really interesting museum. The house has been beautifully restored and rooms set up to reflect the Georgian period. Highly recommend a visit. More

We are sorry the reviewer felt that the visit only needed 15 minutes. In our 2011 visitor survey, the majority of visitors stayed in the house for 45 minutes or longer. More

There's just not really much to this attraction. The rooms have been restored to a supposedly typical state, but only about half a dozen were accessible, and it's really nothing you're not going to have seen 100 times before at other old houses. Guides in each room hand you some quite uninformative leaflets, only a few of the guides seem... More

The guides in each of the rooms are really friendly & explain the history & detail very well. Some of the furniture is just jaw droppingly beautiful. Very cool to get a glimpse into life 200+ years ago. More

It was good but the house that you can get access to is actually a lot smaller than I expected - only half its original size. It was interesting and well presented but it took us less than an hour to see the whole thing in detail. Great view from outside. Last house there sold for £9M - start saving...... More
