Well worth the visit. Fantastic artifacts and history. Well laid out, with as much detail as you can take. Loved the carved gems, messages, and coins retrieved from the spring. The overhead TV's showing re-creations of the ruins you see beneath you really add depth to the tour. Kudos to whomever thought of that idea. More

To think of this site buried beneath the streets is just amazing. Lots of areas and things to explore. Commentary from Alice Roberts and others was fantastic. Must see More

I knew this would be good but for 12.50 it was great value. The audio guide was good because you could just punch in the number of the area you wanted to hear about rather than having to listen to everything in sequence. There was also a choice of speaker on the audio guide from a Bill Bryson commentary to... More

Most historic sites seem to have not much more than some dry tape recording to try and inspire your imagination. here they've combined film reinacting what life in the baths would have looked like superimposed on the actual walls, live actors portraying people of the time (in great humor) guards with some personality and enough detail about how the restoration... We were lucky to find that the Roman Baths were open during the evening and found the baths light by flaming torches very atmosheric. Additional attractions were lyre music, Roman wine tasting and recitals. All parts of the museum were open. More

One of the best tours of Roman ruins with an excellent audio tour and very informative on-site tour guides. Some of the best graphics and visual aids we have seen for a tour site. Exceeded our expectations. More

of course visiting the Roman Baths would be on most peoples 'must do' list of things to see when visiting....thoroughly enjoyable except for the vast number of school groups visiting...they had no manners!!!....that aside its very informative, as you have a self guided/audio tour enabling you to 'skip' areas if you wish....I did, as found it all a bit mundane... We had a lovely 2 hours in the baths, it was just enough time to sample all the pools and steam rooms. It was very relaxing and I would recommend anyone visiting bath to make some time to experience it. More
