Went here for the snooker! brilliant. The event was set out well. A great atmosphere. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The inside is kept clean but not huge for the volume of people. Toilets were ok but be prepared like anywhere when busy to wait. Well worth a visit when the snooker is on. A great atmoshere. We travelled... More

Spacious and atmospheric. We saw the World Snooker finals there and the round theatre plus all the TV monitors mean you get mostly a good view of the action wherever you sit. Good sized bar and large meeting area in the foyer with very friendly staff.

Went there for the snooker world cup and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is great. All is well managed and clean. The place was fully packed and toilets got a bit crowded during breaks, but no big deal. I don't know about other events but for snooker the Crucible is perfect!

Theatre itself is a joy for watching snooker and the seats are comfy, though a more intimate cafe/bar would do the place wonders.

"The Daughter-in-law" only slightly spoiled by theatregoers next to us who had clearly come expecting a domestic farce.

It was the second semi-final, final session. A wonderfully tense affair between Ricky Walden and Barry Hawkins fighting for the right to lose to Ronnie in the final. The venue was superb. Such a good idea playing snooker in a theatre. The Crucible has such history and it was just excellent being there. Definitely something any fan of snooker should... More

My wife and I enjoy snooker, so it was obvious that at some time we would go up to Sheffield to see some snooker 'live' at the place where televised snooker was first transmitted. As the venue is a theatre as well, the seats were significantly more comfortable than Alexandra Palace, where temporary seating was installed. It also makes it... More

I visited the crucible for the first time yesterday for the world snooker semi final and as a disabled person I am absolutely delighted with the disabled facilities and the help from the staff was first class Will return soon for snooker or otherwise

We went to the Crucible for the World Snooker Championship this year and it was a great experience ! Great atmosphere, great venue, you have a good view of the tables even if you have seats in the last row.
