From start to finish there is something to interest most people. The architecture is beautiful and if you have watched Morse/Lewis/Endeavour then you can put a 'face to a name' so as to speak!
... and that's not even the only thing you can see. This is a must a see college. And don't forget to take a stroll along the Christ Church's Meadows after you visit the college. The meadow stretches all the way to the river and it's an excellent walk.
It's a lovely place.... that's where parts of Harry Potter movies were being filmed. It's really huge place. But definitely a place that must see if not just to capture what it's like had we been in Harry Potter's movie.
The staircase at Christ Church College, it was used for scene in the film Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone where Professor McGonagall welcomed Harry and his classmates to Hogwarts for the first time at the top of the staircase.
I've enjoyed mainly the active dining room where Harry Potter movies were filmed in. It is in use by students and it is very interesting to see. It is not open all day since the students use it. The great hall is the inspiration for Hogwarts so beautiful but v busy. Lovely cathedral and grounds
This is a lovely college with a spectacular dining hall; the Cathedral and a picture gallery. The college admission was £8 plus extra for the picture gallery.
It was spoiled by being so busy with huge noisy tour groups many of them schoolchildren. This may be exacerbated by the Harry Potter links.

Our visit to Christ Church College felt initially crowded, as we joined the obligatory British queue to gain entry. You do get a sense of bustling commercialism, and can't really get away from the crowds of people, especially when in places it can feel quite cramped (especially in the beautiful old dining hall).
