From ordering the tickets to catching the bus home a great experience. Because it is a smaller venue you feel more involved, more part of the show. The only thing I can criticise is the fact I am charged for the "privilege" of ordering online.

Went to see The Kite Runner on Saturday and have to say what a perfect venue for this production. The Playhouse is intimate with good views throughout the theatre. This means the audience feels part of the 'action' and the emotion of The Kite Runner was conveyed in a way a larger venue would be unable to achieve.

It doesn't seem to matter where you sit, the sight lines are really good and you always feel close to the action. 'Kite Runner' still playing, is a truly fantastic production - get there if you can!
Very comfortable seats, with ample leg room. Quality performances, friendly and helpful staff, and very reasonably priced tickets.

When ever I have the money, i would see whats on and book tickets. Each time i went i went i left pleased, all the staff are friendly and helpfull, and i love the modern theater compared to the theater royal. it is fully air conditioned, and i am always wanting to go back as soon as possible.
Great theatre space, always interesting programme. The new deli is not good, they don't know what they have for sale and serve meat to vegetarians.
A beautiful theatre with comfortable seating and plenty of space to circulate in the interval. Very helpful box office staff. I was only in Nottingham a short time and only able to attend a matinee of a new family play by Phillip Pullman, I must admit I could not understand it, and I doubt whether the child sitting behind me...

The Nottingham Playhouse, by Peter Moro 1959-64, was not only innovative in design but had a succession of brilliant directors and many of the leading actors of the present and recent past cut their teeth here.

The auditorium itself is very spacious and the stage and the show I went to...
