The memorial consists in a fountain that runs across a white artificial channel made of granite. You're invited to put your hands or feet inside it to feel the flow. While it is a poetic idea for a memorial ("The design aims to reflect Diana's life, water flows from the highest point in two directions as it cascades, swirls and... More

I was surprised that the memorial was not larger. Although, the fountain and surrounding area was well kept and there were many children there even though the weather was chilly. More

After a few stormy days in London with few other tourists around it was a tranquil and peaceful place to visit. We had tried to find it on a previous visit but the signage was not good and we ended at the memorial playground. There were no indications to direct you correctly from there. We had spent the day sightseeing... More

If you didn't see the sign before entering this area you would not have known it was some kind of memorial. It was just grass, few trees, and a circular ring of water flowing. There needs to be a nice lifelike statue or bust of Diana, Princess of Wales displayed in this area. More

Surprised by all the negative reviews. I thought it was lovely and moving. Placards helpful in understanding the thinking behind the memorial's design. Also had a lovely scone at the Lido Cafe right next door. Hard, though, to explain to small children why it's inappropriate to play in such a tempting water park. More

I hadn’t planned on visiting this on my recent visit to London but as I was in Kensington Gardens I decided to stroll up to have a look. I actually had no idea what to expect. It's the oddest fountain I have seen. it’s like a little stream contained within a concrete wall. It was a glorious spring day when... More

I thought it was ghastly. A waste of money, I can not understand how they got planning permission to place such an uninspiring "thing" into such a nice situation. It's not worth bothering with. More
