Yes, the focus of the Drink London tour is the pubs, which would be enough in itself, since they are all great places, but the history that goes with it is fascinating, and John delivers it in a really interesting, lively way. As a Londoner, I learnt a lot and found myself in places that I had never been before... More

We had a great day, cycling with a small group of people down the Thames to Hampton Court. John is a great tour guide, very informative. Great scenery at a leisurely pace with a lovely riverside pub stop along the way. The afternoon was spent in Hampton Court at your own leisure. I would definitely recommend this trip.

The bike tour to Hampton Court led by John was great. The scenery along the way from Richmond to Hampton Court palace is beautifual. The pace is slow and we stopped few times that John can share some history about the area. We rode few hours from morning (with few stops) to noon, took a lunch, then visited the Hampton... More

Pub tour is only the tip of the iceburg here. Superb delivery of info from the guide, witty, succinct and informative. If you love architecture, unusual pubs, literacy and fun this is for you.

Brixton and Borough market food tour, much more than the name suggests. A great insight into the social history, the culture and the people of parts of London often overlooked by tourists. Discover what salt fish and callalloo taste like ( yum) as well local, cheese makers, breweries off the beaten path. Even in areas frequented by tourists, a local... More

Our group of four had a great tour of the historic London pubs!! We emailed prior to arrival and John was able to schedule a tour for our group. We visited four unique pubs and sampled a half pint at each pub. We learned so much about the history of London that on our bike tour the next day we... More

We've just returned from a two-week trip to Scotland and England, and the bike tour to Hampton Court led by John was one of the high points of a great vacation. The scenery along the way (path alongside the Thames for the majority of the ride) is gorgeous, the pace leisurely (with a pub stop midway), and John was a... More

The whole experience from booking, meeting instructions, bikes, journey and interesting history and snippets of information was very relaxed and easy but at the same time worked like clockwork! The weather was not the best but we had a lovely ride along the river from Richmond taking in the view of Richmond Hill and learning all sorts of interesting facts... More

A lovely, gentle ride along the towpath from Richmond. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and with regular stops we learnt about a lot of the history of the area. The route chosen was so lovely and we were very lucky with the weather! Finishing at Hampton Court Palace was the cherry on the cake. I would highly recommend this tour... More

A fantastic day thank you, despite the weather! The ride was suitable for older and young with plenty of info stops and a refreshment break, so you were not under pressure to keep up and could just enjoy the view. Our group was not all spring chickens. Small group ( it seems max 12.) meant it was very personal and... More
