we went here on 11th May 2012 and I can honestly say it was a complete rip off, Dont bother with it. It would have cost us £14 each but we used our Tesco vouchers and still felt ripped off. The 'lift' was a door with rollers on it. The next room contained plastic chairs in front of a tv... More

We go there because we read about it in the London Pass guide and it looked interesting, well, its not at all. We should have realized about it when there was not even 1 person in the queue for tickets. Unfortunately for going here we didnt have enough time to go to Churchill's War Rooms. Please trust me and skip... More

If you are considering it, don't go to this 'dump'!! The "lift" at the start was just sliding doors and rollers... The second room was just mannequins sleeping in beds with hard, classroom chairs infront of a tv. We was the only people there and we realised we were duped. The second room featured a supposed wartime anderson shelter but... More

Very expensive for 45 minutes it took to look around. Informative, educational and realistic effects. More

This is a good one to bring kids to teach them about WWII in Britain. There's a short video at the start, and interactive displays throughout included an air raid shelter (with sound effects) and a table laden with gas masks and uniforms they can try on. Very interesting stuff. Could probably use some ushers or staff in the experience... More

Our family really enjoyed the experience. This was the second time for my husband and I and the first for our two children 6 and 8. The kids still talk about it and have taken an interest in learning more about WW2. I would recommend this activity for families when visiting London. More

Visited this attraction while others in the family went to the Dungeons which are close by. It was good value (especially with SE Trains travel discount) and the staff were friendly and helpful, genuinely pleased to see you and grateful for your visit. An interesting exhibition which provided a different slant on the war, looking at things from the ordinary... More

I visited the Britain at War Experience on 27/03/12 and must say I was very disappointed. A steep admission price (£12.95) for very little content and a near to bland experience. In my view, The Imperial War Museum (free admission) and the Churchill War Rooms (£16.50 adults) offer a much more interesting visit. Quite a dull experience! More

I thought it was a very interesting trip. When I visit London I intend to go there again. My curiosity about second world war increased a lot after experiencing this visit. I got goosebumps entering an Anderson Sheltor and every time I see the photograps we took there....What a dreadful times those were. This visit, for me, was a wake... More

I was on business in London and found myself at a loose end . I have always wanted to go to see this Museum . Entrance area under construction so went down the side entrance . £16.50 entry price i thought was a bit steep ,but it is Winston in London!. First room you see is the actual war room... More
